Early Life and Education
Ayo Makun was born on August 19, 1971, in Warri, Delta State. He originally hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo State.
AY is the eldest of his six siblings, two boys, and four girls.

He had his primary and secondary school education in Warri, Delta State, before moving to Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, where he studied Theatre Art and graduated after spending nine years in school.
